Beijing Royal School (BRS）

Founded in 1996, Beijing Royal School (BRS) has adhered to the educational philosophy of “moral education, nurturing first, integration of Chinese and Western education, and inspiring the future.” This approach has successfully integrated traditional and international education, combining conventional teaching methods with mobile and satellite video instruction, and offering diverse and personalized course selections. BRS encompasses Beijing Royal School, Beijing Royal Foreign Language School, and Beijing Royal Kindergarten, forming a comprehensive K-12 education system dedicated to cultivating globally competent, high-quality, innovative talents, and leading the field of international education in China.

As the first Sino-foreign cooperative school in Beijing, BRS introduced the A Level curriculum in 2003 and the AP curriculum in 2006. It is the only AP Teaching Demonstration School in China authorized by The College Board and the first Cambridge International Examination Centre in Beijing. In January 2018, BRS received authorization from the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) to officially become an IB World School. In February 2021, the school was accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

Since its inception, BRS has consistently aligned with international educational standards, establishing extensive connections with educational institutions and renowned universities worldwide.
