Victoria Park Academy

Shenzhen Victoria Park Academy is a high-quality bilingual institution offering a nine-year integrated curriculum from primary through junior secondary education. Dr. Maggie Koong, Principal of Victoria Shanghai Academy (VSA) in Hong Kong, also serves as the Principal of this school. The Victoria Education Organization was founded in Hong Kong in 1965 and is renowned for academic excellence, character development, and the cultivation of diverse qualities in young individuals. In 1998, Dr. Koong introduced the Victoria educational model to mainland China, establishing the Victoria (China) Education Group, which now boasts over twenty years of experience in cross-regional education.

Victoria Park Academy is rooted in the national curriculum, drawing from the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework in its teaching processes and methodologies. The school integrates the strengths of both systems—valuing teachers and rigorous scholarship from Chinese education, and the inquiry-based, interdisciplinary approach from modern teaching methods. Building on over fifty years of immersive bilingual education experience characterized by the “one teacher, one language” approach, the school implements a unique dual-track system in both Chinese and English, fostering a distinctive curriculum and campus culture.
